Is Life Mission relevant for our times?

Part inquiry, part experiential, we’ll dive into the topic of ‘life mission.’  When we think of ‘life mission’ or ‘life purpose,’ it can feel like a vague diluted term that isn’t often unpacked in our culture. And what exactly does our culture have to say about life purpose anyways?

Is it for the lucky few…those mountain top dreamers…or could there be a practical reason to be in a life mission conversation?

We might think of life mission as a career focus…a lifetime goal…yet our world no longer has the pacing needed for a single career that lasts a lifetime.

What usefulness is purpose in the world we are in now? Is there a place for it in the everyday, in the small and large crossroads we come to?

Life mission as a living, breathing, emergent practice that incorporates a deeper sense of ‘why’, an emergent ‘who’ and a grounded, adaptable ‘what’ is explored.

Join us for an exploratory conversation and brief experience of what it might mean to be in a life mission emergent conversation.  Our DNA has a core structure that changes and grows with our life experience and the world around us. It breathes…so can our sense of mission and purpose.

Carissa has experience hosting workshops through different platforms (online, in person), in multiple contexts and in reflective settings. Carissa has an MA in Integral Psychology, studied Adult Transformative Learning, and is experienced in small group mastermind group settings. Carissa is a Caravan Guide, producer of Caravan of Remembering training and events, and has been immersed in the work of Caravan for over a decade.
